Send Portal Messages
Send and read secure clinic messages from the patient portal.
Use portal messages when your clinic has enabled secure messaging for your account.
Who does this: Patients and caregivers.
Steps
Open the patient portal.
Select Messages.
Review existing messages from You and Clinic.
Enter your message in Type your message....
Select Send.
The new message appears in the thread.
Select an attachment if one appears in a message and you need to download it.
Common pitfall: Do not use portal messages for emergencies.
Troubleshooting
I see "No messages yet." You can start a new message if the message box is available.
The message will not send. Check that the message has text, then try again.
