Configure Notification Templates

Edit event-based email and SMS templates.

Configure notification templates when patient-facing event messages need updated wording.

Who does this: Clinic administrators.

Steps

Open Settings.

Open Notifications.

Select Templates.

Choose an event row in Notification templates, or select Edit.

Review Available tokens before editing copy.

Use Email to edit Email delivery, Subject line, and Email body.

Select Save Email.

Use SMS to edit SMS delivery and SMS body.

Select Save SMS.

The selected notification event uses the updated template.

Common pitfall: SMS templates should stay short and avoid sensitive details.

Troubleshooting

A template looks disabled. Check Email delivery or SMS delivery inside the edit sheet.

A saved change is not visible. Open the same event again and confirm the correct Email or SMS tab was saved.
