Assign an intake packet, the set of forms your practice sends before a visit.
Who does this: Front desk staff and clinic administrators.
Steps
Open Patients.
Select the patient who needs paperwork.
Open the intake action shown on the patient page.
Choose the intake packet or the forms your team wants to send.
Review the patient and paperwork details.
Send the intake link.
The patient can now complete the paperwork from the link they receive.
Common pitfall: If no packet is available, an administrator needs to create one first.
Troubleshooting
The patient did not receive the link. Check the patient's email or phone number, then send the link again.
The wrong packet was sent. Open the intake session and confirm which packet was assigned.
