Start Visits From Pre-Visit

Start a visit from pre-visit when the patient information is reviewed and ready.

Who does this: Clinicians, with help from front desk staff when needed.

Steps

Open Pre-Visit Intakes.

Open the patient or appointment you want to start.

Review Transcript, Risk flags, and the briefing details.

Select Mark as reviewed if the briefing has not already been reviewed.

Select Start visit.

The visit opens for the clinical team.

Common pitfall: Do not start the visit until the team has reviewed the pre-visit information.

The start action is unavailable. Confirm the intake is ready and the visit is assigned correctly.

The briefing has missing information. Review the patient intake before starting the visit.
