Add staff confirmation to a patient consent document.
Co-sign a patient consent when the intake requires staff confirmation.
Who does this: Front desk staff and clinic administrators.
Steps
Open the assigned intake that contains the completed consent.
Select Co-sign.
Review the Front Desk Co-sign page.
Confirm the patient and consent details.
Complete the signature action shown on the page.
The consent is confirmed for the patient record.
Common pitfall: Only co-sign after confirming the consent belongs to the correct patient.
Troubleshooting
The co-sign page will not open. Confirm the patient completed the consent first.
The consent looks incorrect. Do not co-sign it. Ask an administrator to review the intake.
