Set clinic-wide defaults for AI-assisted pre-visit intake.
Configure AI intake defaults when your practice uses AI-assisted pre-visit intake workflows.
Who does this: Clinic administrators.
Steps
Open Settings.
Open AI Intake Defaults.
Turn Enable AI Pre-Visit Intake on or off.
Review the assistant name, voice, visit template, reminder, and consent defaults.
Review recording, video, and retention defaults.
Select Save changes.
New AI-assisted pre-visit intake settings use the updated defaults.
Common pitfall: Appointment types may still need their own intake settings.
Troubleshooting
AI pre-visit intake is not running. Check Enable AI Pre-Visit Intake and the appointment type settings.
Consent is required but missing. Confirm an active consent template is selected.
