Triage Inbox Items
Review and clear patient activity notifications.
Use the inbox to review patient activity notifications and clear items after follow-up.
Who does this: Front desk staff and clinic administrators.
Steps
Open Inbox from the main menu.
Use All, Unread, or Read to filter notifications by status.
Use Search notifications... to find a specific item.
Use Filter by Category to narrow the list by notification type.
Open a notification to review its details.
Select Mark read after you finish the item.
Select Mark all as read when every unread item can be cleared.
The inbox reflects the updated read status.
Common pitfall: Do not mark an item read until any needed follow-up is complete.
Troubleshooting
I cannot find a notification. Clear the category filter, then search again.
The list is empty. Check All before assuming there are no notifications.
